This exhibition of ifa gallery presents six international artists who respond to the theme of living together. Alexandre Ouairy (b.1980-France) condenses in an iconographic work the ancient and modern visual representations of civilisation. As an alchemist Christophe Demaître (b.1968-Belgium) retakes urban views by means of the photographic technique of emulsion printed on canvas. The photography of graffiti by Zhang Dali (b.1963-China) is an historical witness of the violence of urban changes. For their part, the Gao Brothers (b.1956 & b.1962-China) underline in their photographic works the possibility of intimacy between people and new perspectives for the future. The electronic light knitting by Zane Mellupe (b.1982-Latvia) and the photographic performance captured by Dai Guangyu (b. 1958-China) are devised as witnesses to the passing of values down through the generations.
