With her solo exhibition Entropy: Application for an N-sum, Zane Mellupe continues her exploration into the materiality of the medium, specifically photography, at 1933 Contemporary.

Within the material world we inhabit, nothing is really as static as it’s surface impression belies. Energy transforms between objects, the diversification of material forms patterned in obeisance to the conservation of energy. We can only imagine the complexity of the human mind as it offers not just one, but two or more solutions to perceived problems.
